Novi Sad, on 7-8 Dec. 2017 - Freedom of expression and the media

Within its regular continuous training programme, the Judicial Academy, in cooperation with the joint project of the European Union and of the Council of Europe titled „Reinforcing Judicial Expertise on Freedom of Expression and the Media in South-East Europe (JUFREX)“, in Novi Sad, organized a two-day seminar for judges and prosecutors on the topic: „Freedom of expression and the media“.

The two-day seminar on the above topic was conducted in the auditorium of the Appellate Court in Novi Sad on 7 and 8 December 2017.

The lecturers within the seminar were: the deputies of the High Public Prosecutor in Belgrade, Aleksandra Grbović and Radmila Jovanović, and the Deputy High Public Prosecutor in Novi Sad, Ksenija Dajanović while, with her knowledge and experience, the expert of the Council of Europe and the former Judge of the European Court of Human Rights, Mirjana Lazarova-Trajkovska also contributed to the seminar.

The seminar was attended by the judges of the Basic and the High Courts in Novi Sad, the deputies of the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Novi Sad, as well as by the beneficiaries of the initial training of the Judicial Academy from Novi Sad and environs.
