Within its regular continuous training programme, the Judicial Academy, in cooperation with the joint project of the European Union and of the Council of Europe titled „Reinforcing Judicial Expertise on Freedom of Expression and the Media in South-East Europe (JUFREX)“, in Belgrade, organized a two-day seminar for judges and prosecutors on the topic: „Freedom of expression and the media“.
The seminar was conducted in the lecture-hall of the Judicial Academy in Belgrade, on 14 and 15 December 2017.
Those present were the judges, prosecutors, and associates from the basic and high courts and prosecutor's offices in Belgrade, as well as the beneficiaries of the fifth and the sixth generations of the initial training of the Judicial Academy from Belgrade.
The lecturers on the seminar were a judge of the Appellate Court in Novi Sad, Snježana Leković, as well as the judges of the High Court in Novi Sad, Mirela Nikolčić and Nataša Dačić.
The seminar was also attended by the expert of the Council of Europe in this area, Konul Gasimova.
