The Director of the Judicial Academy, Nenad Vujić, will be presiding over the Commission for the implementation of the National Judicial Reform Strategy for the next one-year period

It was unanimously decided, at the session of the Commission for the implementation of the National Judicial Reform Strategy for the period of 2013-2018 held on December 29th 2017, that the Chairperson of that Commission will be the Director of the Judicial Academy, Nenad Vujić for the next one-year period.

A member of the High Judicial Council, Judge Branislava Goravica, was elected as the Deputy Chairperson.

Mr. Vujić said that this body is expected to engage in a great number of activities, particularly bearing in mind that 2018 is the final year of the implementation of the current National Judicial Reform Strategy.

„We are going to finalize the Strategy, but also to work on the new one. That is the year in which we will sum up the achieved results, which are no mean feats. We are expected to face with a great number of issues that we will have to resolve both through the Strategy and through the amendments of the Constitution in order to fully realize the goals from the Strategy, as well as from the Action Plan for Chapter 23“, Mr. Vujić pointed out.

The Chairperson of the Commission in 2017 was the Republic Prosecutor and the President of the State Prosecutorial Council, Zagorka Dolovac, while Mr. Vujić was the Deputy Chairperson.
