The Memorandum of Cooperation of Institutions for Training of Judges and Prosecutors of the FB&H, the Republic of Srpska, Montenegro, and the Republic of Serbia Signed

On 5 March 2019, in Sarajevo the Director of the Judicial Academy of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Nenad Vujić, along with collegues from Montenegro, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Srpska, signed the Memorandum of Cooperation and Mutual Support in Education of Judicial Office Holders.

Today, the Director of the Judicial Academy of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Nenad Vujić, the President of the Managing Board of the Centre for Training in Judiciary and State Prosecution of Montenegro, Mrs. Senka Danilović, the Director of the Centre for Education of Judges and Prosecutors in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Arben Murtezić, Ph.D., and the Director of the Centre for Education of Judges and Public Prosecutors in the Republic of Srpska, Mr. Tomislav Čavić signed the Memorandum of Cooperation and Mutual Support in Education of Judicial Office Holders.

For many years now, the partner institutions for training in the judiciary have had regional cooperation within numerous regional and international projects, which are focused on enhancement of the quality and competence in the work of judicial office holders and the employees within the judiciary.

The signing of the Memorandum is the result of the so-far successful cooperation.

At the ceremony of the formal signing of the Memorandum, the Director of the Judicial Academy, Mr. Nenad Vujić emphasized the importance of the cooperation through the transfer of knowledge and best practices in the activities of the institutions and their continuous building.

„Bearing in mind our intensive and fruitful cooperation up to now, I deem that this is the right moment to actually formalize it through the signing of this type of Memorandum in order to deepen it and raise it to a higher level“, Mr. Vujić pointed out.
