The Judicial Academy orgnized a training entitled Acquiring specialized knowledge in the area of the rights of the child at the Appellate Court in Novi Sad on 29 March 2019.
The training was orgnized for judges of the civil branches in the jurisdiction of the Novi Sad Appellate Court, and the topics discussed during this training included:
The lecturers on this training were Ljiljana Marković, a child pedagogist and Mikaina Stevanović, a special edcation pedagogist.
On 3 and 4 March 2020, in the Appellate Court in Novi Sad, in the hall on the 3rd floor, the Judicial Academy and the CILC – THE NETHELANDS – the donor MATRA, provided the training for the lecturers on the topic of „Alternative sanctions“.
On 7 October 2019, in the Appellate Court in Niš, organized by the Judicial Academy, with the support of the USAID Rule of Law Project and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Serbia, the training course was provided related to the amendments and supplements to the Law on Enforcement and Security, which will start being applied as of 1 January 2020. The training course was attended by the judges of the commercial, high and basic courts from the territory of the Niš appellate jurisdiction, as well as by public enforcement officers.
Today, in the Institute of Criminological and Sociological Research, organized by the Judicial Academy, with the support of the USAID Rule of Law Project and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Serbia, the first out of the envisaged ten training courses was provided, intended for judges and public enforcement officers, related to the amended legal framework in the area of enforcement and security, which is going to be applied as of 1 January 2020.
On 1 April 2019, within its regular program, and in cooperation with the Pištaljka organization, the Judicial Academy organized one-day training entitled Basic training for acquiring a certificate on specialized knowledge related to the protection of whistleblowers. The training was held at the library of the Judicial Academy in Belgrade.
The training was attended by judges of the Appellate, High and Basic Courts from Belgrade.
The lecturers on this training were Snežana Andrejević, a member of the Working group for drafting of the Law on the Protection of Whistleblowers and Jelena Stevanović, an Appellate Court judge from Belgrade, as well as Dragana Matović, Milan Pavlica and Duško Kovačević from the Pištaljka organization.
On 25 and 26 February 2019, a two-day course in road traffic accident investigations was provided to public prosecutors, judges, police officers, and other professionals working on the tasks in road traffic accident investigations, in the Judicial Academy in Belgrade.

Professor Miladin Nešić, D.Sc., graduate traffic and transport engineer from the Academy of Criminalistic and Police Studies in Belgrade, and Dragan Obradović, Ph.D., Justice of the High Court in Valjevo.
On 1 and 2 April 2019, a two-day course in road traffic accident investigations was provided to public prosecutors, judges, police officers, and other professionals working on the tasks in road traffic accident investigations, in the Higher Court in Pančevo.
On 17 and 18 December 2019, in the premises of the Judicial Academy in Niš, the Judicial Academy and the High Judicial Council, with the support of the IPA 2016 ,,EU for Serbia – Support to the High Judicial Council“ Project, provided the training course on the topic of ,,Disciplinary accountability of judges“.

On 4 October 2019, in the hall of the Appellate Court in Novi Sad, the Judicial Academy and the High Judicial Council, with the support of the IPA 2016 ”EU for Serbia – support to the High Judicial Council“ Project, provided the training: ”Disciplinary liability of judges”.
The Judicial Academy, in cooperation with the OSCE Mission, is providing the first cycle of the basic training on the topic of „Ecological law“ in Niš. This training consists of four parts, and it is intended for the judges and judicial assistants of the commercial courts in Niš, Zaječar and Leskovac, as well as for the deputy basic public prosecutors from those territories who act within this matter.
