Users of initial training

Beneficiaries of initial training are persons who, after passing the entrance exam, have been admitted to the Academy for initial training.

The number of beneficiaries of the initial training is determined by the High Council of the Judiciary, that is, the State Council of Prosecutors once a year, by March 1, and they inform the Academy about it.

The number of beneficiaries of the initial training referred to in paragraph 2 of this article is determined by the High Council of the Judiciary and the State Council of Prosecutors based on an estimate of the number of vacant judgeships in the minor and basic courts, i.e. deputy positions in the basic public prosecutor's office, in the year following the year in which the beneficiaries complete the initial training. training, increased by 30%.
 

 Public competition for admission to initial training

The Academy announces a public competition for the selection of candidates for admission to initial training.

The public competition referred to in paragraph 1 of this article is announced once a year, no later than June 1, and is published in the "Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia" and other means of public information covering the entire territory of the Republic of Serbia.

The deadline for registering candidates is 15 days from the date of publication of the public competition in the "Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia".

 

Requirements for admission to initial training

- passed the bar exam;
- fulfilling the general conditions for working in state bodies;
- passed the entrance exam for initial training.
