The topics that were covered included:
• Harmonization of the local legal framework with the international standards
• The rights of the judge against whom the disciplinary proceeding is conducted
• Disciplinary liability (the objective and legal nature)
• The status of judges/the presidents of courts in the disciplinary proceedings
• Disciplinary offences (there will be offences), disciplinary sanctions and relieve of the duty

The training was attended by the judges of the basic and high courts from the territory of the Novi Sad appellate jurisdiction.

The lecturers within this training were:
- Cveta Kajević Grubišić, a judge of the Basic Court in Vršac and a member of the Disciplinary Commission of the HJC, and
- Savo Đurić, a judge of the Appellate Court in Novi Sad and a member of the HJC.
The training was also attended by a representative of the GIZ, Ms. Ivona Simić, Human Resources Expert.

Develop and conduct training programmes for holders of judiciary offices and other staff in the judiciary system, aimed at acquiring new knowledge and its promotion, development of special abilities and skills, to contribute to strengthening of professional and accountable judiciary system.
