Help Court Course Opened "Fight against Trafficking in Humanities" for Judges and Prosecutors
In the organization of the Judicial Academy and Council of Europe, 22. April 2025, an introductory meeting was held on the beginning of the Help Course "Fight of Trafficking", which gathered more than 30 judges and prosecutors from all over Serbia.
The course was solemnly opened by the Head of the Council of Europe in Serbia, which pointed out the importance of continuous education of human rights, as well as support for the Council of Europe in strengthening the capacity of domestic institutions in combating one of the most serious forms of organized crime - human trafficking.
In the introductory part of the meeting, the participants addressed the Judge of Sonja Vidanović, which emphasized that this course was part of the judicial functions and the European Court of Human Rights - the context of the victims of the victims, prosecuting and protecting victims of trafficking.
The Help Program of the Council of Europe is one of the key tools for education of human rights laws, and the course "fight against trafficking" is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge through interactive and practically oriented content. It consists of eleven thematic modules, and participants are facing the Help Platform, with the mentoring and support of the Judicial Program in Serbia. This courses are: Biljana Sinanović, a pension of the Supreme Court and a permanent lecturer at the Judicial Academy; I Marija Anđelković, director of Astra.
