The topics discussed during the training included:

UN Convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women;
The Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (also known as the Istanbul Convention);
Risk assessment; urgent measures (types, grounds for issuing, duration and violations);
Multi-sectoral cooperation through the work of the Coordination and cooperation group of contact persons.

The lecturers on this training were Snežana Milošević, an Appellate Court judge in Niš and Mića Stamenković, a Deputy Appellate Public Prosecutor in Niš.

Develop and conduct training programmes for holders of judiciary offices and other staff in the judiciary system, aimed at acquiring new knowledge and its promotion, development of special abilities and skills, to contribute to strengthening of professional and accountable judiciary system.
