The scheduled passing of the final exam of the jubilee X generation of users of the initial training of the Judicial Academy
The tenth jubilee generation of users of the initial training is preparing to take the final exam at the Judicial Academy.
The users of the initial training were prepared to check the development of competences by long-term mentors, judges and prosecutors from the area of all four appeals in whose headquarters the preparations were held during the summer.
According to the Law on the Judicial Academy ("Official Gazette of the RS", no. 104/2009, 32/2014 - decision of the US and 106/2015"), the final exam is defined as a check of practical knowledge and abilities (competencies) for performing the work of holders of judicial functions.
The final exam of X generation users of the initial training will be held in the period from 12. until September 21, 2022 according to the following the schedule of candidates' examinations by day

The examination board consists of:
- Gordana Komnenić, judge of the Supreme Court of Cassation in Belgrade
- Milena Rašić, judge of the Supreme Court of Cassation in Belgrade
- Mirjana Grujičić, judge of the High Court in Belgrade
- Svetlana Aleksić, judge of the High Court in Belgrade - a special department of the High Court for organized crime
- Tomislav Kilibarda, Appellate public prosecutor in Belgrade
A grade from 1 to 5 will assess the level of acquired competencies of users through trial simulations with special reference to the following criteria:
- process management,
- legal argumentation i
- general impression of the presenter
Following contemporary tendencies of integration of modern technologies in the judicial system, this year's final exam will be held in a hybrid format.
The initial training program is based on the model of development of competencies necessary for performing some of the judicial functions. It includes the application of substantive and procedural laws, judicial and prosecutorial practice, international legal standards, development of special skills necessary for performing the judicial and prosecutorial profession, as well as the principles of judicial and prosecutorial ethics. It is realized through mentoring work and professional development of participants.
One of the proofs of the quality of the initial training at the Judicial Academy, as well as its importance in the professional development of future holders of judicial positions, are the successes of the users of the initial training at the Themis competition of the European Judicial Training Network. Luka Anđelković, Gala Bogosavljević (users of X generation initial training) and Jelena Mihajlović (user of XI generation initial training) are this year's competition winners.
