The training, which was attended by the judges from the territory of the Niš appellate jurisdiction, was provided in the conference hall of the Judicial Academy in Niš on 24 September 2019.

The topics that were covered were:
- Joint and individual exercising of parental rights
- The child’s rights
- Proceedings in lawsuits for the protection of the child’s rights, exercising or deprivation of parental rights
- Civil law protection from domestic violence.

At the end of the training, the participants took the test with the questions from the above mentioned areas.

The lecturers within this training were the judges of the Appellate Court in Niš, Dobrila Zdravković and Marina Đukić.

Create the prerequisites for the development of professionalism in holders of judiciary office by establishing clear, measurable and objective criteria for the election and career advancement and their training and professional development, in line with core values and principles the judiciary system is founded on.

Goal

Develop and conduct training programmes for holders of judiciary offices and other staff in the judiciary system, aimed at acquiring new knowledge and its promotion, development of special abilities and skills, to contribute to strengthening of professional and accountable judiciary system.
