Specialized training on the topic of preventing domestic violence

On Tuesday, June 14, 2022, the Judicial Academy organized a one-day extraordinary training on the application of the Law on Prevention of Domestic Violence in its premises at Terazije 41 in Belgrade.
The training was attended by judges First Basic Court in Belgrade.
The lecturers at the training were Nebojša Đuričić, judge of the High Court in Belgrade and Gorjana Mirčić Čaluković, deputy public prosecutor.

The topics covered in the training were:
- UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women,
- Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (Istanbul Convention),
- Risk assessment,
- emergency measures,
- Multisectoral cooperation through the work of the Group for coordination and cooperation and contact persons.
