In Novi Sad, on November 30 and December 1, 2023, in the hall of the Pupin Hotel, training was organized as part of the joint project of the EU and the Council of Europe "Support for judicial reform" and the Judicial Academy on the topic "Using the public prosecutor's practice base".

Both trainings were attended by 50 public prosecutors from basic and higher public prosecutor's offices from the territory of the Novi Sad appeal, as well as public prosecutors from the Appellate Public Prosecutor's Office in Novi Sad.

The lecturers at this training were:

Jasmina Stanković, VJT,
Mladen Merlini, ICT sector VJT,
Marko Jovanović, Council of Europe expert.

In addition to the training for the use of the public prosecutor's practice database, the participants had the opportunity to receive information about the public prosecutor's practice database itself, its use and importance, as well as the results of the analysis of the public prosecutor's practice in Serbia and recommendations for improvement.

Mission

Create the prerequisites for the development of professionalism in holders of judiciary office by establishing clear, measurable and objective criteria for the election and career advancement and their training and professional development, in line with core values and principles the judiciary system is founded on.

Goal

Develop and conduct training programmes for holders of judiciary offices and other staff in the judiciary system, aimed at acquiring new knowledge and its promotion, development of special abilities and skills, to contribute to strengthening of professional and accountable judiciary system.
