The Judicial Academy, in cooperation with the OSCE Mission to Serbia, held the third of six planned seminars on May 30, 2024 in Novi Sad on the topic: "Family law with an international element - International legal assistance in civil matters".

The lecturers at these seminars are: prof. Dr. Slavko Đorđević, full professor of the Faculty of Law of the University of Kragujevac, Snežana Andrejević and Ljubica Milutinović, retired judges of the Supreme Court and permanent lecturers at the Judicial Academy.

The following trainings are scheduled for the following dates:
•   May 31 in Subotica,
•   June 10 in Novi Pazar and
•   June 21 in Belgrade.

Mission

Create the prerequisites for the development of professionalism in holders of judiciary office by establishing clear, measurable and objective criteria for the election and career advancement and their training and professional development, in line with core values and principles the judiciary system is founded on.

Goal

Develop and conduct training programmes for holders of judiciary offices and other staff in the judiciary system, aimed at acquiring new knowledge and its promotion, development of special abilities and skills, to contribute to strengthening of professional and accountable judiciary system.
