On 13.10.2023. in Belgrade, as part of the implementation of the project "Improving children's rights in civil court proceedings through strengthening the capacity of professionals" which is being implemented by the Judicial Academy in cooperation with UNICEF, the fourth round table was held with the topic "Intersectoral cooperation of the judiciary and centers for social work".

This round table was attended by 19 judges from the territory of the Belgrade appeal who act in family cases and 10 representatives of centers for social work from the territory of the Belgrade appeal.


The moderators at this round table were the judge of the Supreme Court of Serbia, Zorana Delibašić, and Nada Šarac, head of the professional training department of the Republic Institute of Social Protection.

Mission

Create the prerequisites for the development of professionalism in holders of judiciary office by establishing clear, measurable and objective criteria for the election and career advancement and their training and professional development, in line with core values and principles the judiciary system is founded on.

Goal

Develop and conduct training programmes for holders of judiciary offices and other staff in the judiciary system, aimed at acquiring new knowledge and its promotion, development of special abilities and skills, to contribute to strengthening of professional and accountable judiciary system.
