The EU project - the third-party seminar was held by the internal market, "Introduction to EU competition law and a unique digital market in the EU" in Belgrade 26. June and 27. June 2025.

The seminar was realized for judgesCommercial Court Belgrade, Commercial Court of Appeals in Belgrade, Stewardship andCourt of Appeals in Belgrade.

Lecturer The seminar was a judge of the Administrative Court in Sofia, Mrs. Krasimira Neofito Milachkova.

The judge presented the main terms regarding the introduction to EU competition law:

Basic principles and legal framework,
practical cases on the main injuries (Article 101 of the TFEU) as well as
Digital economy - overview of the main aspects and characteristics of digital markets (network effects, platforms, data).

Participants handled practical cases in the form of a workshop.

Independent, impartial, professional, efficient and accountable judiciary.

Mission

Create the prerequisites for the development of professionalism in holders of judiciary office by establishing clear, measurable and objective criteria for the election and career advancement and their training and professional development, in line with core values and principles the judiciary system is founded on.

Goal

Develop and conduct training programmes for holders of judiciary offices and other staff in the judiciary system, aimed at acquiring new knowledge and its promotion, development of special abilities and skills, to contribute to strengthening of professional and accountable judiciary system.
