Law on civil procedure - making a judgment

On December 12, 2025, in Belgrade, in the organization of the Judicial Academy and the OSCE Mission to the Republic of Serbia, the fourth training was held for newly elected judges with a maximum of three years of judicial experience, judicial assistants and participants of the Judicial Academy on the topic "Law on Civil Procedure - Drafting of Verdict".

The training covered the following areas:
• the right to a fair trial, properly reasoned court verdict, evaluation of evidence and the views and practice of the European Court of Human Rights;
• preparation of the court decision and its structure;
• content of the decision (introduction, sentence, explanation);
• citing judgments of the European Court of Human Rights in the decisions of domestic courts;
• examples of good court decision structure and good practice.

The lecturers at the seminar were:
Ivana Marković Radojević, judge of the Court of Appeal in Belgrade;
Jelena Stevanović, judge of the Court of Appeal in Belgrade.
