The seminar was organised by the Judicial Academy in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and the Project team for the prevention and fight against corruption which is funded by the EU Delegation to Serbia.

This time, the seminar was organized for prosecutors and assistant prosecutors within the Novi Sad Appellate Court jurisdiction.

The training included the following topics:

Competences required to recognize and resolve ethical dilemmas in practice

Implementation of the Code of Ethics in solving ethical dilemmas

Prevention and resolving risky situations for corruption occurrence

Corruption and anti-corruption tools

Accountability for ethical action

The lecturers on this training were ethics experts: Mirjana Golubović from the Judicial Academy and Tamara Tomašević on behalf of the Project on the prevention and fight against corruption.

Mission

Create the prerequisites for the development of professionalism in holders of judiciary office by establishing clear, measurable and objective criteria for the election and career advancement and their training and professional development, in line with core values and principles the judiciary system is founded on.

Goal

Develop and conduct training programmes for holders of judiciary offices and other staff in the judiciary system, aimed at acquiring new knowledge and its promotion, development of special abilities and skills, to contribute to strengthening of professional and accountable judiciary system.
