The second part of the training of lecturers on active financial investigation practices
As part of the Project to support Serbia in achieving the goals of Chapter 24: Justice, Freedom and Security, Strengthening Professional Skills and State Capacity to Fight Serious and Organized Crime" financed by the European Commission, from June 11 to 13, 2024, at the Grand Hotel on The second part of the training on active financial investigation practices was held in Kopaonik for a group of selected domestic lecturers from the ranks of public prosecutors and members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The training was held by two key experts, Mr. Marius Juozapavičius and Mr. Alfredo Saviano, and six international experts – four from Lithuania and two from Italy:
• Robertas Šimulevičius, director of the Lithuanian Police School, lecturer on criminal intelligence at Mikolas Romeris University, member of the CEPOL Board of Directors. (Lithuania)
• Daugilas Razauskas, representative of the Lithuanian Criminal Police Bureau (LCPB), responsible for tactical and strategic activities in regional and international areas, both at the intelligence and pre-trial investigation levels, responsible for the goals and tasks of the LCPB in the areas of high-risk events, national and international criminal activities of OKG and criminal associations, and the fight against terrorism. • Dr. Mindaugas Bilius, deputy director of the Lithuanian Police School, lecturer in criminal law at Vytautas Magnus University, member of the International Association for Higher Education. (Lithuania)
• Mindaugas Stravinskas, Deputy Head of the Financial Investigations Service. (Lithuania)
• Roberto Diegi, lieutenant colonel in the Guardia di Finanza. Currently, Head of Branch - Department of Mafia Investigation (DIA), which is responsible for relations with European Union authorities interested in activities to combat organized crime. (Italy)
• Giovanni Angelini, Major in the Guardia di Finanza. Team Leader at Guardia di Finanza Headquarters - Office for International Cooperation. (Italy)
