Workshops for initial training users on the application of the articles of the European Convention on Human Rights
The Judicial Academy, with the support of the Council of Europe Office in Belgrade, organized a cycle of workshops on the application of the articles of the European Convention on Human Rights.
Articles 3, 6, 8 and 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights were addressed through an interactive presentation, discussion and case study analysis.
The target group of participants were the beneficiaries of the initial training of the twelfth generation from the area of the Belgrade appellation.
The lecturer at the workshops was Milan Bajić, advisor to the Supreme Court of the Republic of Serbia.
At the first workshop, participants were greeted by Dina Dobrković, project coordinator at the Council of Europe Office in Belgrade, and Nenad Vujić, director of the Judicial Academy.
Nenad Vujić reminded those present about the relationship between national and international law, the urgency of the procedure and the importance of understanding and correctly applying the practice of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.
In the course of the next calendar year, it is planned to continue the implementation of workshops for users of initial training as well as for judges of basic and higher courts.
The Judicial Academy takes the opportunity to once again thank the Office of the Council of Europe in Belgrade for its cooperation and support in the development and implementation of the training program.
