On August 1, 2024, a meeting of the working group for amending the Law on the Judicial Academy was held in Belgrade with the support ofCouncil of Europe offices in Serbia.

The members of the working group presented proposals for issues that should be covered by the law, and the director of the Judicial Academy of the Republic of Serbia, Nenad Vujić, also presented some proposals for starting points.

Chairman of the working group,Assistant Minister of Justice Jovan Ćosić, he informed the members of the working group with the deadlines for drafting and the obligation arising from the Action Plan for chapter 23, to send the law on the Judicial Academy to the Venice Commission for its opinion.

The members of the working group agreed to submit their proposals within a reasonable time so that the working group could continue working on specific issues in early September.
