Training of lecturers in connection with the application of guidelines for effective decision-making in less complex cases with offenses in the field of public procurement with practical work on the public procurement portal
The Judicial Academy is in coordination withUSAID's Project for the Improvement of Public Procurement, on December 14 and 15, in Vrnjačka Banja, organized the third training for members of the Network of Judges of Misdemeanor Courts, especially specialized in the field of misdemeanors related to public procurement.
On this occasion, the focus was on the training of judges for effective decision-making in less complex cases related to offenses in the field of public procurement, which also includes practical application.Public procurement portal for the purposes of conducting misdemeanor proceedings.
The judges had the opportunity to get acquainted with the ways of collecting evidence from the Public Procurement Portal, as well as to acquire skills for independent search of the Portal.
During the training, it was also discussed about the violations that came into forceof the Law on Public Procurement in 2019 decriminalized, as well as on the application of the statute of limitations for the initiation, that is, the conduct of misdemeanor proceedings, all with the aim of efficiently solving the case.
This was an opportunity for all training participants to exchange valuable experiences, and in the following period, lecturers from the ranks of misdemeanor judges will have the opportunity to share the acquired knowledge and skills in the field of misdemeanors related to public procurement with colleagues from all misdemeanor courts in Serbia on specially organized trainings.
