Trainee of IX generation of the Judicial Academy, Ms. Kristina Balnožan, winner of the first Slobodan Perović Award - Извор: Правосудна академија

The Kopaonik School, at the proposal of the President of the School, Mrs. Jelena Perović S. Vujačić, Ph.D., this year, established Slobodan Perović Award in honour of its founder.

A great number of papers of young jurists had arrived for the competition, and the international jury selected the three best ones within the general topic and the requirements envisaged by the competition.

The trainee of IX generation of the Judicial Academy of the Republic of Serbia, Ms. Kristina Balnožan, is the winner of the first „Slobodan Perović“ Award for the best paper on the general topic of the competition: „Law and the Power of Wisdom” dedicated to the founder of the Kopaonik School of Natural Law, the Academician Prof. Slobodan Perović, Ph.D.“ and the letter of honour: literas honoris.

The second Award was granted to Mr. David Vučinić, and the third one, to Ms. Andrea Nikolić.

The awarded trainee of the Academy had the opportunity to exhibit her winning paper before a broad audience of the Kopaonik School, on the occasion of the formal opening when the awards were presented and the winners proclaimed.

Create the prerequisites for the development of professionalism in holders of judiciary office by establishing clear, measurable and objective criteria for the election and career advancement and their training and professional development, in line with core values and principles the judiciary system is founded on.

Goal

Develop and conduct training programmes for holders of judiciary offices and other staff in the judiciary system, aimed at acquiring new knowledge and its promotion, development of special abilities and skills, to contribute to strengthening of professional and accountable judiciary system.
