European Judicial Training Network
The European Judicial Training Network (EJTN) is the main platform and promoter for training and knowledge exchange on the European judiciary. EJTN represents the interests of more than 120,000 European judges, prosecutors and court trainers across Europe.
The network was formed in 2000. EJTN's areas of engagement include:
- Right E U,
- Civil,
- Criminal and commercial law,
- As well as training in the domain of linguistic and social skills.
The vision of EJTN is to help and encourage common legal and judicial European cultures.
EJTN develops standards and training programs, coordinates exchanges and training programs in the judiciary, expands expertise and promotes cooperation between EU judicial institutions that deal with the training of judges and prosecutors.
EJTN is the organizer andTHEMIS competitions, where the teams of Pravodus Academies E U compete in knowledge of European Union law and the European Convention on Human Rights. The Judicial Academy of the Republic of Serbia has the status of an associate member, and so far it has achieved notable results in these competitions, and in 2022, it was also the host of this prestigious competition for young lawyers.
