The training was organized for the spokespersons and heads of the Mediation Information Services.

The objective of this workshop was to develop the participants’ knowledge and advanced skills for promoting mediation, particularly in the media and public relations, and to become as efficient as possible in connection with the success of mediation for the purpose of reducing caseload and improving court efficiency.

The workshop was attended by the presidents and spokepersons of the basic and higher courts from the territory of the Belgrade appellate court, as well as the heads of the Mediation Information Services.

The lecturer was Mirjana Golubović, the Head of the Department for Special Knowledge and Skills of the Judicial Academy.

Create the prerequisites for the development of professionalism in holders of judiciary office by establishing clear, measurable and objective criteria for the election and career advancement and their training and professional development, in line with core values and principles the judiciary system is founded on.

Goal

Develop and conduct training programmes for holders of judiciary offices and other staff in the judiciary system, aimed at acquiring new knowledge and its promotion, development of special abilities and skills, to contribute to strengthening of professional and accountable judiciary system.
