In the project within the project "Horizontal Facility "for the Western Balkans and TurkeyThe Council of Europe conducted another training cycle for future mentors on "Access to Women Justice".

The training was realized in the period from 22. to 24. September 2025. years in Budapest.

The program trained mentors with practical tools to remove gender-based obstacles to achieving equal access to justice. The ultimate goal is to ensure each to manage within the complex judicial system without restraint due to gender-based prejudice.

Through the mentoring system, judges and prosecutors will train and conduct other legal experts in strengthening their gender-sensitive practices, ensuring that the justice system reacts to the needs of women in the field of justice.

The participants of the mentoring program were representatives of the First Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, the Second Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, the Court of Appeals in Novi Sad and the High Court in Nis.

Develop and conduct training programmes for holders of judiciary offices and other staff in the judiciary system, aimed at acquiring new knowledge and its promotion, development of special abilities and skills, to contribute to strengthening of professional and accountable judiciary system.
