The trainees were the basic public prosecutors from Belgrade and Novi Sad, their deputies and police officers in charge of crimes against the environment and environment protection.
The workshop, together with the lecture, lasted for about four hours.
During this training, the participants learned about all relevant methods of illegal trade in and smuggling of wild species, investigation of crimes involving wild species and illlegal trade thereof, as well as examples of good and bad practices from Serbia and abroad.
The lecturer at this training was Pavle Jovanović, who heads the Group on the Implementation of the CITES Convention at the Ministry of the Environment.
