Conference - Best practice in resolving commercial disputes
Organized by the Office of the Program for the Development of Commercial Law (CLDP), Ministry of Commerce of the United States, a regional conference was held in the period from September 17 to September 20, 2024 in Tivat with the theme: "Best practice in resolving commercial disputes" for judges of commercial courts from the Western Balkans.
During the conference, judges of commercial courts exchanged experiences, good and bad practice, as well as challenges regarding these types of cases. The conference presented cross-border commercial disputes, settlement of commercial disputes through mediation in the USA, decision making in commercial disputes involving foreign investors, as well as the role of the European Court of Justice in this area. In particular, the importance of judicial ethics was presented at the conference. The method of work was presentations and workshops.

- Judge Tina Jakupac, Commercial Court in Zagreb, Croatia

At the end of the conference, a ceremonial presentation of certificates to the participants was held.
