Ecological law
The training was provided for the judges and judicial assistants of the commercial courts in Belgrade, Pančevo and Požarevac, for the advisors of the Commercial Appellate Court, as well as for the prosecutors, deputies of the basic public prosecutor from that territory, who deal with this matter.
Contents of the programme for all the four days:
• The first day – on 21 Oct. 2019, the general part (introductory and basic issues of environmental protection, basic principles of environmental protection, the protection of some parts of the environment in the judicial system of Serbia), the lecturer: Prof. Mirjana Drenovak-Ivanović, Ph.D.
• The second day – on 28 Oct. 2019, the special part (environmental protection by the civil law, the emphasis on the ecological damage, and presentation of the draft Law on the Liability for Damage in the Environment), the lecturers: Mr. Sreten Đorđević, Attorney-at-law, and Mrs. Tina Janjatović, a representative of the Ministry of Environmental Protection
• The third day – on 4 Nov. 2019, the special part (the protection of the environment by the criminal law and ecological criminal offences), the lecturer: Judge of the Appellate Court, Belgrade, Mr. Siniša Važić
• The fourth day – on 15 Nov. 2019, the special part (economic transgressions with an element of environmental protection), the lecturer: Deputy Appellate Public Prosecutor, Mrs. Branislava Vučković
