"European Union Intellectual Property Law" organized by the Judicial Academy, the Academy of European Law (ERA) and the Bar Association of Serbia
The Judicial Academy, in cooperation withAcademy of European Law (ERA) andBar Association of Serbia, on October 25 in Belgrade, organized a one-day seminar on "European Union Intellectual Property Law". The seminar brought together 25 participants: judges, lawyers and students of the Judicial Academy.
The seminar was opened by the deputy director of the Judicial Academy, Maja Prelić Simović, and the head of the business law department at the Academy of European Law, Florence Hartmann-Vareilles. They stated that the aim of the seminar is to provide an overview of legislation and the development of judicial practice in European intellectual property law. They also noted that key issues related to trademarks, designs and copyrights will be discussed. Special focus will be placed on the proceedings before the new Unified Patent Court.

• Key contentious issues regarding copyright in the domestic legal system
• Copyright in the EU legal system
• Civil proceedings before the new court: Unified Patent Court
