The latest developments of the European Court for Human Rights regarding the freedom of expression were presented during the conference, as well as the results achieved in the preceding three-year implementation period of the project.
Members of the Judicial Academy’s delegation were the Council of Europe certified lecturers: Zorana Delibašić, a judge of the Supreme Court of Cassation, Gordana Komnenić, a judge of the Appellate Court in Belgrade, Jasmina Simović, a judge of the Appellate Court in Kragujevac, Aleksandra Grbović, deputy high public prosecutor from Belgrade, Radmila Jovanović, deputy high public prosecutor from Belgrade and Ksenija Dajanović, deputy high public prosecutor from Novi Sad. In addition, Majda Kršikapa, deputy director of the Judicial Academy and Aleksandar Kostić, the Judicial Academy’s adviser for international cooperation also attended the event.

Create the prerequisites for the development of professionalism in holders of judiciary office by establishing clear, measurable and objective criteria for the election and career advancement and their training and professional development, in line with core values and principles the judiciary system is founded on.

Goal

Develop and conduct training programmes for holders of judiciary offices and other staff in the judiciary system, aimed at acquiring new knowledge and its promotion, development of special abilities and skills, to contribute to strengthening of professional and accountable judiciary system.
