The exam begins today, September 12, 2022 at 09:00, and ends on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. As in previous years, the candidates will take their exams in front of the cameras, with a live broadcast on the official channel YouTube channel of the Judicial Academy.

The final exam of the X generation, this year, is held in a hybrid format, where candidates from the Belgrade appellation, in the period from September 12 to 16, 2022, to lay in the premises of the Judicial Academy (Terazije 41, Belgrade), while candidates from the appeals Novi Sad, Niš and Kragujevac will take their exams in the Academy's premises in those cities, in front of cameras, in two-way communication with the members of the examination committee that will be in Belgrade, in the transmission of the exams in real time through the distance learning Academy's internet platform.

As we have already pointed out, during the application final exam, each candidate plays the roles of a judge of the basic court and a deputy public prosecutor through a trial simulation, while the five-member commission,  assesses the level of acquired competencies of each candidate in each of the roles.

It should be noted that the preparation of the candidates for the final exam was somewhat different this year as well, and that the candidates prepared in the headquarters of their appeals, in accordance with the new, hybrid format of taking the final exam.

The users of the initial training were prepared by mentors from the ranks of civil and criminal judges and deputy public prosecutors.

The subjects on the basis of which the candidates were preparing for the final exam were chosen in such a way as to cover the broadest spectrum of legal areas from criminal and civil matters. In particular, the cases were selected, adjusted and defined as optimal and characteristic cases through the analysis of court practice, which are assigned to the holders of judicial functions, who have up to 3 years of work experience.

A grade from 1 to 5 will assess the level of acquired competencies of users through trial simulations with special reference to the following criteria:

• process management,
• legal argumentation i
• general impression of the presenter

For the final exam, 45 candidates are ready, namely:

1. Appeal Belgrade - 26 candidates, of which 2 candidates from the ninth generation of students
2. Novi Sad appeal - 5 candidates
3. Appeal Kragujevac - 5 candidates, one of whom is a candidate from the ninth generation of participants, i
4. Niš appeal - 9 candidates
