The trainings held at the Appellate Court in Niš on 6/7 June were attended by judges and judicial assistants within the Niš Appellate Court jurisdiction.

The topics discussed during this training included:

setting the backlog and prevention of its reoccurrence,

data management – how to read court statistics

judge’s individual plan for reducing the backlog.

The trainers on this training were Snežana Andrejević, a judge (retired) of the Supreme Court of Cassation and Nataša Stevanović, a judge of the Appellate Court in Kragujevac.

Develop and conduct training programmes for holders of judiciary offices and other staff in the judiciary system, aimed at acquiring new knowledge and its promotion, development of special abilities and skills, to contribute to strengthening of professional and accountable judiciary system.
