The training in Novi Sad on 16 May 2019 was attended by judges, court presidents and judicial assistants of civil branches within the Novi Sad Appellate Court jurisdiction, while the training attended on 17 May 2019 in Palić was attended by judges, court presidents and judicial assistants of criminal branches within the Novi Sad Appellate Court jurisdiction.

The topics discussed during this training included: setting the backlog and prevention of its reoccurrence, data management – how to read court statistics and judge’s individual plan for reducing the backlog.
The objective of the training was to present the results of the courts in 2018 regarding settling the backlog and handling the incoming cases, with an overview of plans for the forthcoming period, the requirements under Chapter 23 and the CEPEJ reporting requirements.
The lecturers on this training were Snežana Andrejević, a judge of the Supreme Court of Cassation (retired) and Jasna Stevanović, a judge of the Appellate Court in Belgrade.
