Juvenile perpetrators of criminal acts and non-institutional sanctions and reaction measures - norm and practice
On March 18, 2022, the Judicial Academy organized a seminar on "Juvenile offenders and non-institutional sanctions and reaction measures (norm and practice)". The seminar was held in the premises Institute for Criminological and Sociological Research in Belgrade.
The topics covered in this training were:
- Educational orders and non-institutional educational measures (concept, criminal-political reasons for norming, types, purpose, scope of possible application and previous experience in application)
- The principle of the opportunity of criminal prosecution against minor perpetrators of criminal offenses (the concept, the relationship between general and conditional opportunity and past experiences in application)
- International legal standards and non-institutional measures of reaction to juvenile crime
- Analysis of cases from practice and discussion (at the choice of the prosecutor or juvenile judge)

The seminar was opened by the director of the Judicial Academy, Nenad Vujić.
