Minors as perpetrators of crimes and juvenile persons damaged by the criminal
The Judicial Academy is 17. Marta 2025. year, in the Sali Academy in Nis, organized training on "minors as perpetrators of crimes and juveniles are damaged by criminal offense."
These training was attended by judges of higher, basic and misdemeanor courts, as well as the holders of public unitting functions from basic and higher prosecutor's offices from the territory of Nis Appeal.
The training topics included:
- Reasons for the adoption of a new law on minor perpetrators of criminal offenses and protection of minors in criminal proceedings;
- Material law in the law on minor perpetrators of criminal offenses and criminal law protection of minors, as well as the selection and imposition of criminal sanctions against minors;
- Process provisions from the law on minor perpetrators of criminal offenses and criminal law protection of minors and their implementation in practice;
- Some problems in the implementation of the law on minor perpetrators of crimes and protection of minors in criminal proceedings, as well as cases from practice from the material and process aspect;
- The European Convention on Human Rights, with reference to the concept of "Judiciary customs" judge ".
The lecturers at the training were:
- Dr. Milan Skulić, professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade and judge of the Constitutional Court,
- Dr. Ivana Stevanović, director of the Institute of Criminological and Sociological Research,
- Dragan Obradović, Judge of the High Court in Valjevo, retired and permanent lecturer of the Judicial Academy.
