The seminar was organized with support of the Project on the prevention and fight against corruption which is funded from pre-accession funds of the EU IPA 2013 programme for Serbia.
The topic of the seminar was a distinction between tax violations and tax criminal offences.
The lecturers were: Prof. Stanko Bejatović, PhD, a Law School professor at the University of Kragujevac; prof. Milan Škulić, a Law School professor at the University of Belgrade and a judge of the Constitutional Court of Serbia; Jelena Kostić, PhD, a research fellow at the Institute of Comparative Law; Kamenko Kozarski, President of the Misdemeanour Court in Novi Sad; Zlatko Škripac, a judge of the Appellate Misdemeanour Court, Novi Sad Department; Ivan Marković, Deputy Basic Public Prosecutor of the Third Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade; Jasmina Milanović-Ganić, Deputy Prosecutor for Organized Crime; Zoran Bursać, a judge of the First Basic Court in Belgrade and Jovana Stojanović and Ljubisav Stojiljković, tax consultants at the Pricewatershousecoopers (PwC).
The facilitators were Dejan Simić, a coordinator at the Tax Police Division and Sena Papak, a coordinator at the Control Division of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Finance – Tax Control Administration Novi Sad.
The seminar was held at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Belgrade from 19-21 June 2019.
