Workshop for the Network of Misdemeanor Court Judges for the validation of draft analysis of complex offenses in the field of public procurement
The Judicial Academy, in cooperation with the Misdemeanor Appellate Court, with the support of USAID's Project for the Improvement of Public Procurement, organized a workshop intended for judges of the Network of Misdemeanor Court Judges, specialized in misdemeanors in the field of public procurement.
The workshop was held on November 18 and 19, 2024 in Sokobanja, and during it, complex offenses in the field of public procurement prescribed by the Law on Public Procurement and the Law on the Budget System were discussed.
The participants were presented with a draft of the Analysis of Complex Offenses in the Field of Public Procurement, and special attention was paid to the analysis of initiated proceedings, with reference to outdated and legally terminated proceedings. There was also talk about the content of the request for the initiation of misdemeanor proceedings, as well as the presentation of evidence and the execution of sentences.
The aim of the workshop was, among other things, to gather opinions and suggestions for the preparation of the final Analysis of complex offenses in the field of public procurement.
