Commercial law of the European Union in the context of the legal system of the Republic of Serbia
The Judicial Academy, in cooperation with the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN) as part of the project "Western Balkans II" on October 7 and 8 in Belgrade, organized training for lecturers and experts on the topic: "Economic Law of the European Union in context of the legal system of the Republic of Serbia". The training for lecturers and experts in the subject area brought together 21 participants, judges from the area of all four appeals in Serbia, as well as judges of the Commercial Court of Montenegro.
The training for lecturers and experts in the subject area was opened by the head of the training department for special types of law at the Judicial Academy, Marija Milaković, and the manager of the "Western Balkans II" project of the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN), Vanja Tekić.
The key topics covered at the training for lecturers and experts in the subject area were:
• The status of compliance of the commercial law of the Republic of Serbia with the law of the European Union
• Civil procedural law of the European Union
• E-justice portal
• Introduction to the European Payment Order
• EU intellectual property law
• Right to trademark and trademark protection
• EU bankruptcy law; the legal framework of the EU and the practice of the Court of the EU
• Bankruptcy Law (Case Study)
• Compensation for damages due to the violation of market competition rights (EU law in the context of the right to compensation of damages of the Republic of Serbia)
• Compensation for damages due to violation of market competition rights (case study)
The lecturers at the training for lecturers and experts in the subject area were:

- Jelena Čuveljak, judge of the High Commercial Court of the Republic of Croatia
