Safety is not a choice: Risk assessment and the role of institutions in preventing violence
The Judicial Academy, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Serbia, and within the project "Reduce risk - Increase safety III" continued with the implementation of the fourth of seven one-day trainings entitled "Safety is not a choice: Risk assessment and the role of institutions in preventing violence".
The training was attended by Basic Chief Public Prosecutors and Basic Public Prosecutors and Assistant Prosecutors, employees of centers for social work, as well as members of the uniformed part of the police from different cities of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. The training was carried out in the ceremonial hall of the hotel "Tamiš" in Pancevo.
The training program is aimed at continuously improving the quality of intersectoral communication and cooperation, as well as raising awareness of internal prejudices regarding domestic violence and femicide.
The lecturers at this training were:
- Sandra Perić, director of the Chamber of Social Protection and
- Gorjana Mirčić Čaluković, Public Prosecutor and lecturer at the Judicial Academy.
The implementation of all training is planned for the period October - November of the current year
