The National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NADE), within the project "Public procurement and good management for greater competitiveness", with the support of the Swedish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (AIDS), organized a study visit to Portugal on the topic of public procurement.

The study visit took place in the period from September 26 to 30, 2023 in Lisbon. The aim of the study visit is to improve knowledge related to the judicial system in Portugal, protection of rights in this area and electronic public procurement. As part of the visit to Lisbon, meetings were organized with representatives of Portuguese administrative courts in three instances and other relevant institutions, which enabled the exchange of knowledge and experience with representatives of the delegation of the Republic of Serbia.

Participants of the study trip were representatives of the Ministry of Justice of the RS, the Administrative Court of the RS, the Judicial Academy of the RS, the Office for Public Procurement, the Republic Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures, the Ministry of Finance of the RS and the Office for IT and eGovernment.

Develop and conduct training programmes for holders of judiciary offices and other staff in the judiciary system, aimed at acquiring new knowledge and its promotion, development of special abilities and skills, to contribute to strengthening of professional and accountable judiciary system.
