The Judicial Academy, in cooperation with the Pishtaljka portal (publisher of the Eutopia association), on October 22, 2024, in the premises of the Judicial Academy in Kragujevac, held training to obtain a certificate on special knowledge related to the protection of whistleblowers.

One of the main goals of the training is to increase the protection and rights of whistleblowers, and within the framework of the training, the education of holders of judicial functions is realized in relation to the Law on the Protection of Whistleblowers as a novelty in the legislation of the Republic of Serbia.

The topics covered in the training are:
-    International standards and principles in the whistleblower protection system, basic postulates, judicial protection
-    Law on the Protection of Whistleblowers - basic concepts prescribed by the Law, procedure and types of whistleblowers, obligations of employers and criminal liability prescribed by the Law on Protection of Whistleblowers.
-    Case studies - practical application of the Whistleblower Protection Act
-    Experiences of Counseling for whistleblowers in Pistaljak.

The lecturers at the training were:

- Vladimir Radomirović and Dragana Matović from the Pishtaljka portal
- Duško Kovačević, lawyer in the Pištaljko legal team
