A greater role of the Judicial Academy in education is needed
Minister of Justice Maja Popović today she met with the director of the Judicial Academy, Nenad Vujić.
The meeting discussed activities related to the improvement of the normative regulation of the position of the Judicial Academy in accordance with the activities from the Action Plan for Negotiating Chapter 23: Judiciary and fundamental rights and transitional measures, as well as the implementation of other joint activities of the Ministry of Justice and the Judicial Academy.
The need to strengthen the infrastructural and technical capacities of the Judicial Academy was pointed out, which will be done by reconstructing the new building of the Judicial Academy and acquiring adequate equipment needed for its work.
Minister Popović and Director Vujić agreed that the Judicial Academy should play a significantly greater role in the education of judges and public prosecutors, as well as all other holders of public authority who perform judicial professions.
At the meeting, it was concluded that further cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and the Judicial Academy will be improved through the joint organization of numerous professional trainings for the application of laws prepared by the Ministry of Justice.
