The Center for the Education of Judges and Prosecutors of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is supportedGerman Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ) On May 30, 2024, he organized a round table on the topic "Modernization of training and further education of lawyers" in his premises. 

The panelists at the round table were Norbert Koster, former judge of the Higher Provincial Court in Ham, Dr. Stefan Purner, project leader of the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation for the Western Balkans, Dr. Robert Jović, judge of the Court of Appeal of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina, asst. Dr. Smajo Šabić, judge of the Cantonal Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and president of the Board of DirectorsCenter for Education of Judges and Prosecutors of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The round table was opened by His Excellency Dr. Tomas Fišen, Ambassador of Germany to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Arben Murtezić, Director of the Center for Education of Judges and Prosecutors of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Dr. Stefan Purner, Project Leader of the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation for the Western Balkans .

Representatives also attended the round tableCenter for the Education of Judges and Prosecutors of Montenegro and the Judicial Academy of the Republic of North Macedonia.

The Judicial Academy of Serbia was represented by Andrea Delibašić, advisor in the Department for Research and Education Improvement.

The round table was divided into two main segments. The main themes of the first part of the dedication continuous improvement of judges and prosecutors were modernization of training programs, quality management, evaluation and monitoring, digitalization of training programs, development of didactic competencies of lecturers, development of training programs for trainers, financial and other challenges and difficulties. The second part was devoted to the introduction of the initial training program and the transition from the Centers to the Academies of the countries in the region.

In the part of the discussion dedicated to the exchange of experiences in the work of the Academy and the Centers, the representative of the Judicial Academy briefly presented the process of selecting mentors and lecturers, designing, implementing, evaluating and monitoring training programs, as well as working on developing their skills, strengthening capacities and sensitizing them for working with adults as participants in the learning process both through the permanent and initial training program. She also presented the initial training program and the method of implementation. She referred to the challenges in her work and briefly introduced those present to the strategy of digitization of the learning process and her workdistance learning platforms of the Judicial Academy.
